FUND
RAISING EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS FOR BEN WILSON

A
fund raising event to help support Boston rider Ben Wilson as he
contests the 2007 Metzeler Racetec National Superstock
championship was heralded as a resounding success by all who
attended the function at the Four Cross Roads Public House on the
outskirts of Boston last Monday evening.
The
pub was packed to the rafters with friends, family and race fans
who all worked together to raise a considerable amount of money
that will help Ben throughout the season.
“I
would like to thank Eric and his staff at the Four Cross Roads for
providing an excellent meal and for their help on the night and
also everyone who donated items for the raffle and/or auction and
all who contributed to help make the night a resounding success.
Also special thanks must go to Richard Foster, the auctioneer.
Thanks Richard we couldn't have done it without you. I am so
grateful for everyone's support and will do my very best to bring
the winner’s trophy back to Lincolnshire,” said Ben.
Once
again Ben took advantage of the spring-like weather on Thursday to
attend a further track day at Cadwell and said: “This is my
third outing on the Windmill Suzuki GSX-R 1000 and its all going
very well.
“This
week the track was busier than usual so I was unable to post any
really fast times. But that was not my aim, I really just wanted
to get a few more miles on the clock before the opening race of
the season over the Easter weekend at Brands Hatch and I achieved
that without a hitch.”
The
Metzeler Racetec National Superstock championship is set to run
over 13 races as a support class to the British Superbike
championship. The Superstock series does not run at Mallory but
has a double header at Mondello Park instead.

sold for an amazing £20.
