A
weekend to be forgotten was Silverstone for Ben.
After
a bad start to the weekend crashing out at Bridge in the rain in Fridays free
practice session
Ben
struggled to set his bike up and qualified in 21 st not where he wanted to be
back on the 6th row on the grid.
Race
one saw Ben barge his way through to 13th place and after a red flag restarted
the race on the 3rd row. This gave Ben an advantage and he made his way up to
11th place but then crashed out after getting tangled with Steve Plater at
Luffield.
Race
two went no better for the luckless rider who started on the 5th row and
made his way up the field again but pushed hard and lost the front end at Copse
on lap 10 resulting in a trip to the medical centre for treatment on a badly
bruise arm.
Ben
will be at his home track of Cadwell Park next weekend and will be looking for a
good result
in front of his home crowd.
